The few days before Christmas sometimes drag (you know, waiting for Santa). We decided to make gingerbread men out of felt and buttons. I thought it would be a fun way to teach my kids how to sew on buttons, which actually came in handy a few weeks later when Ben had to sew three buttons on his church blazer.
